The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud issued, today, Jan. 24, a Royal Decree on appointing Fahad Al-Mubarak as new governor of the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) with the rank of Minister.
Al-Mubarak, who was relieved from his position as the Minister of State and Member of the Saudi Arabian Council of Ministers, replaced Ahmed Alkholifey who was appointed as Advisor to the Royal Court.
Al-Mubarak served as Governor of the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA), formerly the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency, from 2011–2016.
