Saudi Arabia records 140 COVID-19 cases on Thursday

Saudi Arabia recorded 140 COVID-19 cases today, Dec. 31, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 362,741, the Ministry of Health stated.

 

Recoveries reached 171, raising the total number of recovered cases to 353,853 (98% of total COVID-19 cases).

 

The Kingdom reported nine new deaths, with the death toll standing at 6,223.

 

Active cases totaled 2,665, of which 368 cases are critical.

 

Riyadh reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 55, followed by Makkah (31), Eastern Province (21), as well as Madinah and Asir with eight each.
