Outstanding loans of Saudi specialized credit institutions rise to SAR 235.1 bln in Q2 2020

The outstanding loans of Saudi Arabia's specialized credit institutions reached SAR 235.1 billion in Q2 2020, a rise of 3% year-on-year (YoY), according to data issued by the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA).

 

The specialized credit institutions include Real Estate Development Fund (REDF), Saudi Industrial Development Fund (SIDF), Social Development Bank (SDB) and Agricultural Development Fund (ADF).

 

On a quarterly basis, the outstanding loans declined by SAR 216 million in the second quarter of 2020.

REDF dominated 67% (SAR 158.4 billion) of the total specialized credit institutions' outstanding loans during the period, followed by SIDF with 20% (SAR 46.7 billion).
