Saudi Arabia launched the vaccination campaign last week to start putting an end to the pandemic outbreak, stated Ministry of Health spokesman, Muhammed Al-Abdulaali.
“Those who received the first vaccine shot are in a stable condition; they should take the booster shots after 21 days of the first one,” said Al-Abd Al-Aly.
The vaccination campaign will commence in three phases, with the first stage targeting people most exposed to the virus. The vaccine will then be made available to the wider public.
Around 400,000 people from Saudi Arabia’s high-risk group have registered to receive the vaccine through the Sehaty app.
Saudi Arabia started the rollout of Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccination program last Thursday, Argaam reported.
