The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) announced offering 20,000 different training opportunities through the e-training program to fulfill the needs of the labor market.
The ministry added that the program is affiliated to the Future Skills initiative and comes in response to the changes caused by COVID-19 pandemic, including the need for online training and work.
The program aims to develop various technical and soft skills in the fields of communication and information technology through more than 35 trends, including emerging technologies, advanced courses, and traditional technologies, in addition to the support areas.
Ahmed Al-Thenayyan, deputy minister for Technology and Digital Capacities, confirmed that the ministry is keen on taking advantage of the technical capabilities to maintain the progress of the training and qualification of the national cadres.
He stressed that the program will enhance the technical and personal skills of its beneficiaries, to fulfill the actual needs of the labor market.
