Middle East Paper Co.'s (MEPCO) new plant for the production of tissue paper and hygienic paper jumbo rolls will have several advantages and also complement the company's current activity, said Chairman Abdullah Almoammar.
The paper industry has strong growth potential, said the top official, adding that his company is set to implement a strategic expansion plan that includes maximizing its current capabilities, as well as adding new activities and carrying out more expansions.
The company announced earlier today, Dec. 7, that its board of directors approved the establishment of tissue paper and hygienic paper jumbo rolls production plant at an estimated cost of SAR 338 million.
The project, which is expected to have an annual production capacity of 60,000 tons, will be established on the company's land in the Industrial Valley in King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC).
