The companies wishing to join the “Made in Saudi” program are required to meet the criteria set for each sector by the program, state-owned SPA reported, citing Saleh Al Solami, Secretary General of the Saudi Export Development Authority (SEDA).
In return, the companies will enjoy a package of privileges and benefits related to the unified brand, which will enable them to market and promote their products and services in local, regional and foreign markets.
SEDA has recently announced that it will launch the “Made in Saudi” program in collaboration with its partners within the industrial ecosystem by Q1 2021.
The program will be launched in line with a defined vision to support the national product, make it the product of choice for consumers, and promote its role in boosting non-oil gross domestic product (GDP) through raising consumer loyalty to national products and services, according to Argaam data.
