Saudi Arabia launches digital cooperation organization to accelerate digital economic growth

Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Jordan, Kuwaitand Pakistan launchedthe Digital Cooperation Organizationto strengthen cooperation across all innovation-driven areas and accelerate the growth of the digital economy.

 

The organization’s vision aims to achieve a digital future for everyone through empowering women, youth and entrepreneurs. It also seeks to enhance the digital economy across all innovation-driven areas, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

 

Abdullah Al-Swaha, Saudi minister of communications and information technology, highlighted the importance of digital cooperation and the necessity of empowering women, youth and entrepreneurs to boost the growth of joint digital economy to $1 trillion in the next three to five years.
