The Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu (RCJY) signed on Wednesday two investment agreements worth SAR 7 billion with a Chinese company as part of Saudi Arabia's G20 presidency year activities.
The first agreement was inked by Jubail and Yanbu Industrial Estates Services Company, a RCJY unit, to establish an industrial project in Jubail industrial city.
The agreement worth SAR 3.38 billion was signed to set up an LED factory, which will provide 267 direct jobs.
On the other hand, Saudi Silk Road Industrial Services, a RCJY joint venture, signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) at a total value of SAR 3.75 billion for a polycarbonate and polyethylene factory with the Chinese firm.
