Saudi Cabinet approves social security law

The Saudi Cabinet chaired by King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud approved the social security law at its meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 17, during a virtual meeting.

 

The Cabinet also ratified the implementation of the two decisions issued by the 39th Session of the Supreme Council of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC) to approve the unified guiding regulation for volunteer work, and the unified guiding regulation for empowering persons with disabilities in the GCC. Meanwhile, it also approved the appointment of members -- representatives of the private sector -- in the board of directors of the Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones.

 

The newly appointed members are Abdullah bin Fahd Al-Fassam, Abdulsalam Mohammed Al Mutlaq, Abdullah bin Saud Al-Rumaih, Abdullah Bin Abdul Rahman Obaikan, Rami Khalid Alturki and Ibrahim bin Mohammed Al-Jomaih.
