Bandar Alkhorayef, Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, said the Kingdom has many capabilities that are helping it implement the solutions of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
During his speech at Asbar World Forum, Alkhorayef said that artificial intelligence (AI), topnotch technologies and 3D printing will help the Kingdom achieve qualitative leaps in the industrial sector.
This trend goes well with the country’s financial, legislative and human capabilities, especially as it has a distinct demographic composition of young people who have knowledge, experience and can deal with technology smoothly, the minister said.
He indicated that Saudi Arabia aims to create an industrial base dependent on technology and creativity to develop a large number of products and technologies for a promising future.
“The industrial sector usually targets major investors, as we seek to find trends for entrepreneurs to seize the great number of opportunities available in the industrial sector directly or through the services sector that supports it,” Alkhorayef said.
