AlAhli Takaful Co. and Chubb Arabia Cooperative Insurance Co. decided to end their preliminary discussions and not continue with the study of a possible merger, the two firms said in separate statements to Tadawul on Oct. 28.
The two insurers said there is no financial impact of this decision.
According to the data available with Argaam, the two companies announced last February that they had started preliminary discussions to study a possible merger.
