Arabian Centres Co. (ACC) announced today, Oct.19, that it opened, on Oct. 15, Saudi Arabia’s largest cinema theatre complex at Mall of Dhahran.
The company said in a bourse statement that the 18-screen cinema theatre spans an area of 9,663 square meters (sqm), with 2,368 seats.
The cineplex will be running at 50% capacity until further notice, in compliance with ACC’s comprehensive health and safety measures. Visitors are encouraged to purchase their tickets at one of the complex’s five automated ticketing devices.
The new opening is in line with ACC’s belief in a lifestyle-oriented business model that leverages the great progress made under Vision 2030, the company’s CEO Faisal Al Jedaie said.
“We expect to launch nine additional cinemas across our portfolio by 2021, further strengthening ACC’s position in the areas of leisure and entertainment,” he added.
This Mall of Dhahran marks the tenth ACC location which has installed a cineplex, bringing the total number to 103 cinema screens nationwide.
The CEO also noted that the company strives to provide consumers with the full range of shopping, leisure and entertainment options no matter where they are in Saudi Arabia.
