King Salman names new deputy, assistant speaker for Shura Council

King Salman issued, today, Oct. 18, a royal decree on restructuring the Shura Council, headed by Speaker Sheikh Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Sheikh.  

 

Mishaal bin Fahm Al-Salami was named the Shura Council deputy speaker, with the rank of a minister. 

 

Hanan bint Abdulrahim Al-Ahmadi was named as Shura Council Assistant Speaker at an excellent rank.  

 

King Salman also appointed 150 members in the Shura Council for four years, effective from Oct. 20.   

 

Moreover, King Salman appointed Sheikh Khaled Al-Luhaidan as the chief justice of the supreme court with the rank of a minister. 

 

Sheikh Ghaihab Al-Ghaihab was also appointed as an advisor to the Royal Court with the rank of a minister.
