Mobile Telecommunication Company Saudi Arabia (Zain KSA) starts today, Oct. 11, electronic voting for the first meeting of its extraordinary general assembly meeting (EGM).
The voting will start at 10 am and continue until the end of the meeting, the company said in a bourse statement.
The step follows the Capital Market Authority’s (CMA) directives enabling shareholders to participate and vote on related meeting agenda through Tadawulaty system, in line with the government’s efforts to prevent spread of coronavirus.
Earlier, the company invited its shareholders to vote on the board of directors’ recommendation to increase the company's capital from SAR 4.48 billion to SAR 8.98 billion through offering 450 million ordinary shares, according to data compiled by Argaam.
