The Saudi government offered land plots to the private sector to build resorts, malls and tourist attractions, Minister of Tourism Ahmed Al-Khatib said during a meeting of G20 tourism ministers.

“The Saudi Tourism Development Fund will support the market with about up to 500,000 key rooms by 2026,” Al-Khatib said.

Banks also joined the tourism development fund, with an allocated credit limit of up to SAR 150 billion to support the private sector, the minister said.
