Mobile Telecommunication Company Saudi Arabia (Zain KSA) starts today, Oct. 5, electronic voting for the first meeting of its extraordinary general assembly meeting (EGM), to be held on Oct. 14, 2020.
The voting will continue until the end of the meeting, the company said in a bourse statement.
The step follows the Capital Market Authority’s (CMA) directives enabling shareholders to participate and vote on related meeting agenda through Tadawulaty system, in line with the government’s efforts to prevent spread of coronavirus.
Earlier, the company invited its shareholders to vote on a 23% capital cut to SAR 4.487 billion from SAR 5.837 billion, according to data compiled by Argaam.
