Saudi Arabia records 643 new COVID-19 cases on Saturday

Saudi Arabia recorded 708 new COVID-19 cases today, Sept. 12 bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 325,050, the Ministry of Health said.

 

The level of new infections recorded today is the lowest in about five months (since the first half of last April).

 

Recoveries reached 903, raising the total number of recovered cases to 301,836 (93% of total COVID-19 cases).

 

The Kingdom reported 27 new deaths, with the death toll standing at 4,240.

 

Active cases totaled 18,974, of which 1,343 cases are critical.

 

Makkah reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 69, followed by Jeddah (65), Hufuf (51), Dammam (45), and Madinah with 35.
