Leejam Sports Co. (Fitness Time) opened on Sept. 5, 2020, a new ladies fitness center in Dubai, according to a statement on Tadawul.
The center is the third one to be launched after the company was allowed to re-open its fitness centers on June 21, 2020, following the precautionary measures to combat the spread of COVID-19.
The adverse circumstances of COVID-19 disrupted operations and economic activities around the world and led the company's fitness centers to be closed for more than three months, the statement said.
However, the company indicated that despite the circumstances, it successfully opened three new ladies fitness centers during the last eight days.
The center is located on Al Wadha Road in Al Mamzar district in Dubai, and spans over an area of 1,270 square meters (sqm).
The center will operate under the brand "Fitness Time - Ladies” and will contain all the state-of-the-art facilities and services of that brand’s category.
The financial impact will be reflected on the company’s results as of Q3 2020 and onwards, the statement added.
The company also said that the total number of Fitness Time centers operating in the Kingdom and abroad stands at 135, adding that new centers announcements will be made in the coming weeks
