Etihad Atheeb Telecommunications Co. (GO) announced the start of electronic voting for its extraordinary general assembly meeting (EGM), to be held on Sept. 6, 2020. The voting will start Friday morning, Sept. 4, and conclude at 6.30 pm on Sept.6, the company said in a bourse statement.
The step follows the Capital Market Authority’s (CMA) directives enabling shareholders to participate and vote on related meeting agenda through Tadawulaty system, in line with the government’s efforts to prevent spread of coronavirus.
Earlier, the company invited its shareholders to vote on audited financial statements and audit report for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2020, according to data compiled by Argaam.
