Oil prices rose during Tuesday’s trading session, as the US dollar fell to its lowest since May 2018.
Brent crude futures for November delivery rose 1.1% to $45.78 a barrel, while U.S. Nymex crude for October delivery was up 1% at $43.05 a barrel.
The dollar index, which measures the performance of the U.S. currency against a basket of six currencies, fell 0.4% to 91.791 points.
