SVCP shareholders to elect board members on Sept. 28

Saudi Vitrified Clay Pipes Co. (SVCP) are set to elect board members for the upcoming three-year term, starting Oct. 18, 2020, during the ordinary general assembly meeting (OGM) that will be held on Sept. 28, 2020.

Shareholders will also elect members of the audit committee for the same term and determining its implementation rules, the company said in a bourse statement.

The company will adopt electronic voting as of Sept. 24, 2020 on the agenda items of OGM.

The step follows the Capital Market Authority’s (CMA) directives enabling shareholders to participate and vote on related meeting agenda through Tadawulaty system in line with the government’s efforts to prevent spread of coronavirus.
