Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication Co. (GO) said in a bourse filing that Riyadh’s Administrative Court of Appeal postponed its decision about the company’s appeal against the Communications and Information Technology Commission (CITC) to Sept. 6, 2020.

The telecom operator said that it is currently difficult to estimate the related financial impact, adding other developments will be announced later on.

In August 2018, the company filed a lawsuit before Riyadh’s administrative court to cancel CITC’s decision in which it rejected GO’s request to obtain the unified telecom license.

In October 2019, the administrative court rejected GO’s claim, and both parties were granted 30 days to appeal.
