The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) suspended trading of Salama Cooperative Insurance Co.’s shares today for one trading session, due to the company's failure to disclose its financial statements for Q2 2020 on time.
This came in line with the market listing rules, Tadawul said in a statement.
Trading of shares for the company will resume for a period of 20 trading sessions, starting Thursday, August 27, 2020, following the one day suspension.
Salama is required to announce its financial statements before the end of Thursday, Sept. 24, 2020, the statement added.
In case the company fails to announce its Q2 financial statements within the stipulated period, trading will be suspended again, starting from Sunday, Sept. 27, 2020, until the company announces its financial results.
