The National Shipping Company of Saudi Arabia (Bahri) signed an agreement on August 13, 2020, with the Saudi Company for Exchanging Digital Information (Tabadul) to provide Fasah Pay, one of the digital solutions available within the Fasah platform.
The service enables companies in the logistics sector to create and raise invoices due to their customers, as well as pay them through a SADAD number.
The agreement stipulates the provision of a special control panel for Bahri’s users to access many electronic features through Fasah platform, including access to all previous and upcoming transactions, ability to download detailed or combined invoices for a specific customer, electronic payment of the invoices raised and due from customers, flexible updating and cancellation of invoices, and retrieval of customer information or any other data using the approved reference details, the shipping major said in a statement.
The service will facilitate and accelerate billing and payment processes, managing and controlling payments, to ensure the continuity of the import and export businesses efficiently and effectively.
“Through Fasah Pay, we can replace all incoming and outgoing paper-based financial transactions with electronic versions,” said Bahri’s CEO Abdullah Aldubaikhi.
“We also look forward to the other benefits the system will bring, including improving the transparency of transactions, accelerating procedures for beneficiaries, and reducing the risks involved with cash transactions by providing a safe payment system,” he added.
