Human Resources Ministry unveils administrative violations document for COVID-19 measures

The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development unveiled the document for administrative violations of precautionary measures to counter the outbreak of COVID-19 in the governmental entities, to ensure the safety of citizens and residents, and the practice of working in a healthy and safe environment.

 

The ministry clarified in its statement that the document aims to ensure commitment from the employees to apply precautionary and preventive measures to combat the spread of COVID-19, as well as control violations related to non-compliance and address them in accordance with regular procedures in a proper and accurate manner.

 

The document applies to employees covered by the civil service system and the disciplinary system, who need to adhere to, as follows:-

 

-As per Paragraph (D) of Article (208) of the executive regulations for human resources in the civil service, the employee must be familiar with the applicable laws, regulations, and instructions related to his work and abide by them without any violation or neglect.

 

-According to the item (3) of Article (7) of code of ethics and business conduct, the employee must implement the orders issued to him by his superiors accurately within the framework of regulations and instructions.

 

The ministry pointed out that any violation of public health standards and failure to adhere to the precautionary measures will lead to investigation and disciplinary accountability.
