Saudi Arabia’s General Directorate of Passports extended the validity of all tourist visas for 3 months, free of charge.
The visa extension will be processed automatically, which means that tourists whose visa has expired during the suspension of international flights do not need to submit an application to the Directorate office.
The decision falls in line with the government’s precautionary measures to mitigate the impact of the COVID-19.
Saudi Arabia suspended all flights in and out of the Kingdom in March to curb the spread of pandemic.
