National Medical Care Co. (Care) said it is pursuing its expansionary plans, but they may delayed due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

Care's revenue from outpatient visits, which account for around 18% of the company’s total revenue, dropped due to the partial lockdown in the Kingdom. Emergency and medical consultation units account for 82% of Care's gross revenue.

Care also indicated, in its press conference on Q1 2020 financial results, that the legal measures taken against the UAE-based troubled NMC Health have no impact on its operations.

Care reported an 11% profit increase year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 33.2 million in Q1 2020, data compiled by Argaam showed.
