Buruj Cooperative Insurance Co.’s (Buruj) board of directors appointed, on May 6, independent board member Ahmed AlMerzouqi as vice chairman, replacing executive board member and managing director (MD) Khaled AlHassan.
The company said in a statement to Tadawul that the move is in line with the new regulations, adding that AlHassan will maintain his position as MD.
The insurer said the new reshuffle doesn’t require regulatory nor general assembly’s approval.
