Saudi Paper Manufacturing Co. (SPM) said it will halt operations at its plant and subsidiaries in Dammam Industrial City II for 4 days starting from today, it said in a bourse filing.
The step is in line with the government’s decision to apply additional measures to isolate the Industrial City II in Dammam and prevent entries or exits.
However, shipping of goods from warehouses to all customers will continue as usual.
The company noted it is unable to assess the financial impact of the precautionary measures at present and any further developments will be announced in due course.
SPM CEO Yousry Al Bashry said that the health of employees, customers and society is a top priority for the company at this moment, and that it supports all measures that prioritize public health.
