Saudi Marketing Co. (Farm Superstores) closed, on April 28, 3 branches on discovering a number of COVID-19 infected cases in the neighborhoods of Al Muhammadiyah, Al Rawda and Al Samer in Jeddah.
The company said on its official Twitter account that it coordinated with official authorities on the same day, affirming the immediate closure of those branches in the affected areas.
It further assured that the branches were sterilized by accredited bodies under the official authorities’ supervision, in addition to the preventive isolation of all staff who came in contact with the cases.
The branches will reopen after receiving official approvals from the concerned authorities, Farm Superstores assured, noting that all other branches in Jeddah are operating normally.
