Savola’s audit committee member resigns

Savola Group’s board of directors approved yesterday the resignation of the audit committee member, Dr. Ammr Khalid Kurdi, who resigned from his position on April 23, 2020.

The company said in a bourse filing today that Kurdi stepped down citing business commitments, and the resignation will be effective from May 1, 2020.

The statement also added that the audit committee membership currently consists of 4 members after the resignation of Kurdi, in-line with the relevant laws, regulations, and committee’s charter.
