Tadawul suspends calculation and publishing of Nomu from May 14

The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) announced in a statement today the calculation and publishing of the Parallel Market Index (Nomu) to be suspended by the end of trading on Thursday, May 14, 2020.

 

In addition, the bourse also adjusted the capping threshold of the weight of each issuer in the Parallel Market Capped Index (NomuC) to 35%, effective from the start of trading today, April 14.

 

According to data available on Argaam, Tadawul approved the request of Arab Sea Information System Co. to transition its shares from Nomu to the main market and start trading from April 15, 2020, with the symbol 7201.

 

With the transfer of Arab Sea, the number of companies listed in the parallel market in 2017 reduced to 4.
