Al-Babtain says COVID-19 precautionary measures to impact revenues

Al-Babtain Power & Telecommunication Co.’s (Al-Babtain) business segments and factories are still operating, but the government’s 24-hour curfew measures in some cities to curb spread of COVID-19 might lead to a decline in revenues.

 

The company said in a bourse statement that it is unable to assess the financial impact of the precautionary measures at present and any further developments will be announced in due course.

 

On the private sector’s support packages, Al-Babtain said it is working closely with relevant authorities to identify the support mechanism and feasibility.
