Aslak says COVID-19 precautionary measures affected production, channel sales

United Wire Factories Co.’s (Aslak) production capacities and channel sales were substantially impacted by the government’s precautionary measures to curb the spread of coronavirus since early April, the company said in a bourse filing on Sunday.


The firm further added that it is unable to assess the financial impact of the precautionary measures at present and any further developments will be announced in due course.

 

On the private sector’s support packages, Aslak said it is working closely with relevant authorities to identify the support mechanism and feasibility.
