Here are a few things you need to know as Saudi stocks start trading on Thursday.
1) The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) announced a temporary reduction of trading hours for all listed securities from 10am to 1pm, effective from today.
2) Emaar The Economic City (Emaar EC) widened net losses after Zakat and tax to SAR 509 million for the fiscal year 2019, from SAR 138 million a year earlier.
3) Basic Chemical Industries Co. (BCI) reported net profit after Zakat and tax of SAR 59.3 million for FY2019, down by 15.85% year-on-year (YoY).
4) Al Khaleej Training and Education Co. posted a net profit after Zakat and tax of SAR 59.46 million for FY2019, up 84% YoY.
5) Al Gassim Investment Holding Co. (GACO) widened net losses after Zakat and tax to SAR 14.6 million for FY2019.
6) Nama Chemicals Co. reported a net profit after Zakat and tax of SAR 1.1 million for FY2019, a 96.67% decline YoY.
7) Fitaihi Holding Group’s board of directors recommended withholding cash dividend for the second half of 2019.
8) Chubb Arabia Cooperative Insurance Co.’s board of directors recommended a 5% cash dividend for FY2019, at SAR 0.5 per share, amounting to SAR 10 million.
9) Arriyadh Development Co.’s (ARDCO) shareholders are set to vote, on April 19, on a 5% cash dividend, or SAR 0.5 per share, for the second half of 2019.
10) Brent crude on Thursday declined 16 cents to reach $27.23 per barrel. WTI Crude also decreased 34 cents to reach $24.15/bbl.
