What you need to know when Tadawul opens today

Here are a few things you need to know as Saudi stocks start trading on Wednesday.

 

1) The National Agricultural Development Company (NADEC) reported a net loss after Zakat and tax of SAR 7.3 million for fiscal year 2019 compared to net profit of SAR 1.7 million in FY2018. 

 

2) Sahara International Petrochemical Co. (Sipchem) reported net profit after Zakat and tax of SAR 299.5 million for FY2019, down by 48.6% year-on-year (YoY).

 

3) Gulf Union Cooperative Insurance Co. (Gulf Union) reported a net loss before Zakat of SAR 30.7 million in FY2019, as against a profit of SAR 5.8 million a year earlier.

 

4) Middle East Specialized Cables Co. (MESC) trimmed net losses after Zakat and tax to SAR 24.6 million for FY2019, compared to net losses of SAR 80.1 million a year earlier.

 

5) Saudi Public Transport Co. (SAPTCO) reported a net profit of SAR 35.3 million for FY2019, up 73% YoY.

 

6) Allianz Saudi Fransi Cooperative Insurance Co. reported a net profit before Zakat of SAR 41.6 million for FY2019, a 12% increase YoY.

 

7) Saudi Re for Cooperative Reinsurance Co. reported net profit before Zakat of SAR 59.3 million for FY2019, up by more than four-fold YoY.

 

8) Mouwasat Medical Services Co.’s shareholders will vote on, April 22, on a 20% cash dividend, or SAR 2 per share, for FY2019.

 

9) Bank Aljazira’s shareholders will vote, on April 15, on a 3% cash dividend, or SAR 0.3 per share, for the second half of 2019.

 

10) Brent crude on Wednesday gained 65 cents to reach $27.80 per barrel. WTI Crude increased 72 cents to reach $24.73/bbl.
