What you need to know when Tadawul opens today

Here are a few things you need to know as Saudi stocks start trading on Monday.

 

1) Bawan Co. reported net profit after Zakat and tax of SAR 26.6 million for the fiscal year 2019, against net losses of SAR 218.4 million a year earlier.

 

2) Tihama Advertising and Public Relations Co. will vote on capital hike to SAR 175 million from SAR 75 million through SAR 100 million rights issue during the extraordinary general meeting (EGM) scheduled for April 16, 2020.

 

3) Sahara International Petrochemical Company (Sipchem) will immediately carry out the regular maintenance turnaround at the Propane Dehydrogenation Plant (PDH) unit owned by its affiliate, Al-Waha Petrochemical Co.

 

4) Al Jouf Cement Co. swings to a net profit after Zakat and tax of SAR 5.3 million for FY2019, against a net loss of SAR 39.5 million a year earlier.

 

5) Buruj Cooperative Insurance Co.’s board of directors recommended withholding cash dividend for FY2019.

 

6) Zamil Industrial Investment Co. marginally narrowed its net losses after Zakat and tax to SAR 138.8 million for FY2019, as compared to SAR 139.8 million in year earlier period. 

 

7) Baazeem Trading Co. will discuss the board's recommendation on paying 16% cash dividend, or SAR 1.6 a share, totaling SAR 16.20 million, for FY2019 during the company's ordinary general meeting slated for April 16.

 

8) The board of directors of Saudi Airlines Catering Co. postponed the dividend distribution for Q4 2019 until further notice.

 

9) National Gypsum Co. will approve the board's recommendation on paying 3.5% cash dividend, or SAR 0.35 a share, totaling SAR 11.08 million, for FY2019 during the company's ordinary general meeting slated for April 15, 2020

 

10) Brent crude on Monday declined 74 cents to reach $26.24 per barrel, whereas WTI Crude increased 16 cents to reach $22.79/bbl.
