eXtra announces temporary closure of stores in malls

United Electronics Co. (eXtra) announced on Monday that further to the government’s directives to temporarily close shopping malls across the Kingdom as a precautionary measure to control the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), the company has only 5 stores located inside malls out of a total of 45 stores across the Kingdom.

 

The company said in a bourse filing that as the closure period has not been determined, the relevant financial impact cannot be assessed at present.

 

The company further noted that it will closely monitor all developments in this regard and will announce further developments in the future if needed.

 

The statement added that company had already activated the precautionary plan to ensure safety for its employees and customers.
