Jarir closes 4 showrooms in Kuwait

Jarir Marketing Co. shut down its four ‘Jair Bookstore’ showrooms in Kuwait until further notice.

 

The company said in a bourse filing on Sunday that it is not possible to determine the financial impact of the closure at present, but the move is not likely to have any material impact on the group’s business.

 

The move came in response to Kuwaiti Council of Ministers decision to close commercial complexes and shopping malls as part of the measures to combat coronavirus (Covid-19).

 

Jarir said it will announce further developments in due course.
