Gulf Union Cooperative Insurance Co. reappointed Abdul Aziz Al-Turki as its new board chairman for the 3-year term that started on Dec. 17, 2019, according to a bourse filling on Thursday.
Fawaz Al-Tamimi was named the deputy chairman, while Munir Al Borno was appointed as the company’s CEO.
The executive, nominations and remuneration, investments and risk committees were also formed for the new term.
Shareholders in the extraordinary general assembly meeting held on Dec. 17 have earlier approved the audit committee formation for the new term.
The insurer received on March 4 a no-objection letter from the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA) on the new appointments, the statement concluded.
