Saudi transport minister discusses transportation solutions with German delegation

Saudi Minister of Transport Saleh bin Nasser Al-Jasser met an official economic delegation from German companies involved in the transportation sector to explore the most promising opportunities in the Kindgom's transport sector.
 

The delegation included Niko Warbanoff, Chairman of the Board of Managing Directors at DB Engineering & Consulting GmbH; Hans-Christian Freiherr Von Reibnitz, Deputy Head of Mission; Johann Erich Wilms, President of Wilms Group and Chairman of German Near and Middle East Association; and other heads of German companies.

 

Al-Jasser reviewed the promising opportunities in transportation system, which will have an impact in increasing the volume of economic exchange between the two countries.

 

He also stressed on the vital role that the private sector can play in developing economic relationship between Saudi Arabia and Germany.

“We are always keen to raise the level of the services provided in partnership with the private sector that contributes in adapting and implementing the global experiences of smart transportation systems on Saudi roads,” Al-Jasser said.

 

The minister discussed the advantages of the supported economic and investment opportunities announced by the Kingdom to foreign investors within in-line with Saudi Vision 2030.
