Hassan Asiree, the former CEO of Saudi Paper Manufacturing Co. (SPM), said the company's previous announcement on terminating my board membership lacks credibility and fabricates the truth of what happened in the board meeting held on Jan. 21, Asiree told Argaam in an exclusive.
The announcement does neither represent the opinion of the company nor its board, Asiree said, adding he has approached the Capital Market Authority (CMA) to file a complaint, and he is confident the market regulator will take all necessary procedures.
On Feb.17, SPM announced that its board approved on Jan. 21, 2020, to terminate the membership of Asiree from the board based on Article 80 of the Labor Law.
