Here are a few things you need to know as Saudi stocks start trading on Thursday.
1) Banque Saudi Fransi (BSF) posted an over twofold increase year-on-year (YoY) in net profit to SAR 3.1 billion for the fiscal year (FY) 2019.
2) Arabian Centres Co. reported a net profit after zakat and tax of SAR 545.8 million for the 9 months ended Dec. 31, 2019, down by 0.52% YoY.
3) Bank Albilad’s net profit more than doubled YoY to SAR 1.24 billion for FY2019, driven by a 15.5% rise in operating income.
4) Mobile Telecommunication Company Saudi Arabia’s (Zain Saudi) net profit after Zakat and tax rose 46% YoY to SAR 485 million for FY2019.
5) The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) appointed Sarah Jammaz Al Suhaimi as chairperson and Yazeed Abdulrahman Al Humaid as vice chairperson of the board.
6) Mulkia Gulf Real Estate REIT’s unitholders approved on Wednesday a capital increase from SAR 600 million to SAR 681.1 million.
7) Alujain Corp.’s shareholders approved on Feb. 4 rebranding the company to Alujain Holding, and amending its objectives.
8) Alinma Tokio Marine Co. (Alinma Tokio) renewed its license with the Saudi Council of Cooperative Health Insurance (CCHI) for 1 year until Feb. 04, 2021.
9) Brent crude on Thursday gained 90 cents to reach $56.18 per barrel. WTI Crude also increased $1.09 to reach $51.84/bbl.
