Saudi Basic Industries Corp. (SABIC) launched Jadeer, an electronic service to qualify suppliers and help small and medium enterprises (SMEs), it said in a statement on Thursday.
The new initiative was announced at the Riyadh Front Expo and reflects SABIC’s key role in supporting local content and achieving the goals of Vision 2030.
In addition, the company also signed an agreement with the General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises (Monshaat) to use Jadeer to facilitate beneficiaries’ access to investment opportunities in the public and private sectors.
In 2018, SABIC launched Nusaned program to promote investments in SMEs and support the development of local content.
