Saudi Arabia’s non-profit sector, the third sector, reported SAR 8 billion in revenue last year, with the number of non-profit organizations rising 40% year-on-year (YoY), Ahmed Al-Rajhi, Minister of Labor and Social Development, said on the sidelines of Riyadh Economic Forum.
The non-profit sector contributed less than 1% to the Kingdom’s gross domestic product (GDP). The Kingdom targets to raise this share to 5% by 2030, the minister added.
