Helicopter Company plans to acquire 50 helicopters by 2025

The Helicopter Company, Saudi Arabia’s first national commercial helicopter operator, is planning to acquire 50 helicopters by 2025, according to CEO Yahya Al Ghoraibi.

 

Al Ghoraibi said the company seeks to develop its air cargo transportation services in line with Saudi Vision 2030, Saudi Press Agency reported.  

 

The company also plans to launch tourist trips and private tours for pilgrims, in addition to ensuring air ambulance services.

 

In March 2019, the Public Investment Fund (PIF) launched the Helicopter Company, the Kingdom's first national commercial helicopter operator, with a capital of SAR 565 million.
