The Saudi Cabinet approved on Tuesday an appended agreement related to the agreements of partitioning the neutral zone between Kuwait and the Kingdom and delimiting the submerged zone adjacent to the partitioned neutral zone, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
The Cabinet also ratified signing a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Kuwait, it added.
According to data compiled by Argaam, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait agreed recently to resume oil production in a shared border region more than four years after halting output.
Additionally, the Cabinet approved the signing of a MoU with Iraq government in the electricity field, in addition to two MoUs between the ministries of energy and industry and mineral resources in the Kingdom and the ministries of oil and industry and minerals in Iraq.
