8 things to watch on Tadawul today

Here are a few things you need to know as Saudi stocks start trading on Thursday.

 

1) The 2019 earnings disclosure period for Saudi-listed companies started on Jan. 1, 2020 and will run through March 31, 2020.

 

2) Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed the year 7%, or 562 points higher, at 8389 points, compared to a close of 7827 points in 2018.

 

3) Qualified foreign investors (QFIs) were net buyers of SAR 4.4 billion worth of stocks on the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) in December 2019.

 

4) Saudi British Bank’s (SABB) board of directors recommended a 6% cash dividend for the second half of 2019, at SAR 0.6 per share, amounting to SAR 1.23 billion.

 

5) Derayah Financial, the manager of Derayah REIT Fund, will pay a 1.87% cash dividend to unitholders for the fourth quarter of 2019, at SAR 0.187 per unit, amounting SAR 20.06 million.

 

6) Anaam International Holding Group's shareholders approved the board's recommendation on cutting capital by 92.35% from SAR 196 million to SAR 15 million.

 

7) Al Ahli REIT (1) Fund reported a net profit of SAR 59.79 million for the fiscal year of 2019 (SAR 0.43 per share).

 

8) Brent crude gained 0.35% on Thursday to $66.23 per barrel whereas WTI crude also rose 0.31% to $61.25/bbl.
