9 things to watch on Tadawul today

Here are a few things you need to know as Saudi stocks start trading on Monday.

 

1) Arab National Bank’s board of directors recommended a 5% cash dividend for the second half of 2019, amounting to SAR 750 million.

 

2) Saudi Arabian Amiantit Co. signed an agreement to sell its entire stake in Amiantit Fiberglass Egypt for SAR 7.5 million.

 

3) Almarai Company said it is currently evaluating the financial impact of the elimination of subsidy on imported feed except green fodder inputs.

 

4) SEDCO Capital REIT Fund will pay a 1.65% cash dividend for the fourth quarter of 2019, amounting to SAR 9.9 million, says fund manager, SEDCO Capital.

 

5) Saudi Basic Industries Corp. signed six deals with international companies to create strategic alliance to exchange and apply best practices in order to achieve its strategic goals.

 

6) Methanol Chemicals Co. plans to make a scheduled shutdown for its two plants of methanol and dimethyl formam for 23 days as of January 12, 2020, for a periodic maintenance.

 

7) The extraordinary general assembly of Ataa Educational Company will be held on January 20, 2020, to discuss payout of 10% cash dividend for the fiscal year ending on July 31 2019.

 

8) Abdullah A. M. Al-Khodari Sons Co. announced its inability to publish its annual financial statements for 2019 due to the abstention of its external auditor from issuing a disclaimer of opinion related to the audit report.

 

9) Brent crude prices gained 17 cents to reach $68.33 per barrel, while WTI Crude remained steady at $61.77/bbl on Monday morning.
